An association I'm a member of that holds anime meetings semiregularly has a large narrow-necked glass jug for donations.

The downside seems to be, nobody seems to know how to get the bills out of it (other than letting the weight of coins shove them out which doesn't always work). I've sussed out a way of doing so without breaking the jug, but each time I'm given the go-ahead by a staff member to try it, one of the other attendees thinks I'm stealing (um...a thief would just make off with the whole thing, not painstakingly try to fish bills out).
