    Someday, if I ever make it to a high enough position in a company, I'm going to designate one day every year as 'SAY WHATEVER YOU WANT TO YOUR CUSTOMERS' Day.

        A lot of people at my office forward their calls to their cell phone when they go home. I bet that's what she did.

          Or the "secretary" could be in on it. Some people actually make a living running scams like this. They possibly were not even in an office.

            Heh, that came to mind for me a day or so after April Fool's Day.

            I figured since so many people do and say things on April Fool's day, that they wouldn't any other time of year, it would be the perfect day for it.

            Of course, there would be a stipulation, that only the customers that are truly sucky, would get the truly sucky treatment back!

            Wouldn't be fair to the decent customers to be mean to them, just because we could!
