I'd always hoped that an incident like that one would be rare. It makes me sad to see that it's not.

It probably is fairly rare, but it's so shockingly and disturbingly self-centered and entitlement-minded that it just burns itself into your memory and when you have call to be reminded of it, it's just as much an affront to the sensibilities as the day it happened.
