Is there anything more irritating than having someone talk over you or interrupt you? I dream of being able to keep a clue by four under my till for such people. -.-

For example:

Me: Hi, how can...
SC: Marb Reds!

Or

Me: Hi, how can...
SC: £20!
Me: What pump are...
SC: £20!
Me: (thinking, "Just shut the fuck up and tell me what pump you're on!" What pump...
SC: £20!

Honestly, that actually happened. Eventually, cuz I refused to go digging thru all the to pays to find her pump, she quit interrupting me and told me what pump she was on. -.-

Just stop talking and look at them until they ask you why. Then tell them you wanted to make sure they were finished.

I've tried that; works with some, others it's like they're waiting for you to talk just so they can talk over you. -.-
