I've never had to deal with someone trying to steal charity money anywhere I've worked. At the movie theater (this was nine years ago now), we had the Skeevy Creep that I mentioned in my Movie Theater SCs post a while back. We were asking for donations to the Jimmy Fund for children with cystic fibrosis, and the Creep, when asked if he wanted to donate, said "No, they're all dead anyway," and walked off.

We were horrified and disgusted by him all over again.

I know around here we was told by the police that we can do anything in our power to keep a shoplifter or robber there until they arrive.

The local super market will chase shoplifters and when they catch them they beat the living crap out of them if they put up a fight. They have yet to be suied...

Also the owner of a local bar beat the crap out of a guy that tried to leave when his debit card wouldnt work and said he wasnt going to pay and ran for it. The police got there and asked him if he got his moneys worth and he told them yes. The guy told the police to remove the cuffs and let them settle it man to man. The police started to take the cuffs off and he started to cry to leave them on and take him away when they told him they would do as he said but not to call them or an abulance when the bar owner really hurt him.

People who steal from charity are the lowest of the low. I agree, name her and shame her. There's got to be a reporter or newscaster who would love to run this story.

I'm glad she was caught and arrested. Maybe she'll get her stuff stolen while she's in jail and see how she likes it.

Someone got caught committing a crime at Pennsic, one of the SCA's biggest events of the year. The guy was not one of us, but he should have known better.

He fell down and ran into things A LOT before the cops came, poor clumsy bastard.

Thank her for me for being smart and getting the police involved. It's only by having these people arrested that we can stop them from doing the exact same thing to other people.

So many dumb people don't call the cops and let them get away with it, just so they can go back out the next day and do the same thing over again. For those people dumb enough to be like that, I hope it's their house that gets broken into next time.
