That is pretty much the whole story.
Though at first my co-worker thought someone spat on the keyboard. He went to get the cleaning person and ran into the Chief of Central (manager of the library I work at). Chief told him to get the cleaning person. Then when my cw went to show the keyboard to the cleaning person, they both realized someone barfed on it.
Then some loser patron (one of those people who will talk your ear off because they just have to share their "brillance") said about the puke-covered keyboard, "Things like this I think are interresting. I guess that makes me wierd." He also had other things to share but luckily cw and I had good excuses to make ourselves scarce.
