Today, I showed a customer where an item was. When I came back up front, two customers (one was waiting at the service desk and the other one was being checked out in a regular register) were arguing loudly. The customer at the service desk said that he'd been waiting to buy his cigarettes for 5 minutes and he used to work at the store before I was hired. The customer getting checked out told the customer waiting at the service desk that he needed to be patient and wait his turn and that he was lucky he didn't work at the store anymore.
