Precisely why I don't buy lables.

The moral of the story is: Yes, AE, hollister, and A&F ARE expensive, but there are merits to their clothes too - especially for people who are strangely shaped.
I'm sorry, but anyone who has been compared favorably to Maria Sharapova cannot in all honesty be considered to have a "strange shape."

        Hear! Hear!

Just curious Giraffe, Do you find guy are intimidated by you size? I had a female friend once who was 6' 2'' and said most guys didn't want to date a girl who was taller then them. Fortunately, I never had that problem, being 6' 4'' and a nice guy.

Seriouly though, I've never understood this. But then again, I'm kinda shy and a total geek, so I'm happy to date women no matter how tall they are...

Well, I'm 6' tall and about 155-160 lbs. Therefore, as far as clothes today are concerned, I have a 'strange' shape. And the comparison was to my face lol.

EDIT: I just realized the photo comparison would be more....fitting in Jester's thread about shutting the customer down. I've moved it to there.

Yeah - guys always left me alone in high school, and I couldn't figure out why. Perhaps it was the fact that they knew I was in JROTC and would at least attempt to kick their ass (lol), or my size. I was taller than most of the guys til about senior year. And yeah - it's weird towering over guys. I don't date guys under 6' because...it just feels wrong. Fortunately, most of the ones who are 'interested' are between 6' and 6'3 lol.

I was a camp counselor for 5 years. We got a few kids that were huge brats like that.

I'll never forget 2 girls who stayed for an overnight. The next morning, the camp provides breakfast and lunch. These two little wenches complained about the quality of the food (no name brand), complained that they had to have either lunch meat or PB&J for lunch, complained about the snacks offered (and for a little no-profit camp, I think the selection was pretty amazing! I'm a picky eater, and I found plenty of food for my lunch!). The girls REFUSED. Flat out REFUSED to pack a lunch. I packed one for them and told them that they HAD to bring food with them. No excuses. At lunch time they WERE going to EAT and LIKE it, as I didn't want either of them passing out in the heat.

As we are waiting for our bus to take us to the horse back riding facility (I taught horse camp ) the two imps pull cell phones out of their bags and call home to complain. First off, cell phones are not permitted in camp. Secondly, these kids are about 9...WTF do they need cell phones for? but, someone promptly comes to camp with lunches from home...good lesson we're teaching kids here...

From what I learned of these two- for they were pains in the asses in many other ways- their parents had LOADS of money, and the kids had their own au pair to take care of them- mommy and daddy didn't really bother.
I will not shove “it” up my backside. I do not know what “it” is, but in my many years on this earth I have figured out that that particular port hole is best reserved for emergency exit only. -GK
