Last Thursday was quite possibly the Busiest Coupon Thursday we have had in a while. Somehow we managed to get through it, but the store was a shambles for a good part of the evening.
Friday morning however, I heard that someone sent a NASTY 3 page email to (get this) the Local member of the Corporate Board about how "bad" the store was.
Some of the complaints were Justified. Like the Pepsi Rep talking on his Cel phone while he was re stocking his product. But Most were just plain nit picky "You are out of what I came in to get" A partial list opf what we were out of are as follows: Wesson Oil (had the plain, but not the "flavored varieties"), T-Bone Steaks ( the BIG sale item of the week, shorted on delivery), Helmonds Light Mayo (has the original, not the light, may have been shorted), Ammoretto flavored Coffemate (one of the 2 most popular flavors), Italian Creme Coffemate (new flavor, semi popular), and so on.
So basically "the evil" wrote a 2 page email back up the chain so it could be sent to the bitch in question. Oh, and the reason she sent it to the corporate chair instead of to the general "questions and comlaints" email? She is the chairs cousin......
So instead of serving the general public we now have to run the store to suit HER. Lest she complain to her cousin AGAIN!
