oh, they weren't upset about the size of the bed... they were simply upset with the number... that apparently I was implying they should be sleeping in separate beds.

When I explained that I only had rooms with two beds, and of course I didn't care whether or not they slept in just one of the beds or both, that as long as what they do in their room is neither illegal nor affects other guests, I could care less what they do once they are in their room. Oh yes, they were a walk-in, they didn't have reservations... if they didn't like the room I had available they could always have walked right back out, but decided to take offense instead... crazy doesn't discriminate based on orientation apparently
