NO SHIT! That was my exact thought. I mean, I have been known to WAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYY over pack...but a U HAUL!!!!!!!! REALLY!?!?!?!?
Seriously, I know a lot of people who over pack, but a U-Haul?! Last time we packed in one of those was when we evacuated for Rita, plus our travel trailer. But that's because we took half our house with us. Seriously why is he taking so much stuff? Unless he's moving or something which I doubt.

Me: do you truly expect sympathy from me after you called me a moron?
VRS, I think you are getting burnt out just a bit. Your titles used to be so much more creative.

That's strange - I do a LOT of towing with a manual transmission (core is a 5-speed, but there are add-ons), with trailer weight nearly 3 times the weight of the tow vehicle, but never have clutch trouble.
difference being, you know what you are doing... most likely, based on the SC's attitude that he's the customer, therefor he's right, he probably expects the UHaul to just magically work with his car without any need for him to do anything different

I've taken a U-Haul on vacation. But then, we had six people in the car, and we were going camping for two weeks. At an SCA War.

Six people, four tents, two blowup beds, three futons, a cot, six sleeping bags, one wooden slat bed, an 8' x 3' folding table, eight tarps, a case of home-made liquors, a full set of kitchen equipment, thirty-two changes of garb, two large coolers, seven chairs, a harp, and three full sets of armor.

                Wonder what Dickhead was hauling.

Ugh. Being the customer does not exclude you from common courtesy. Grow up. Learn some manners. They don't hurt, I promise.

Guest: yea Dave, we have a U haul trailer we are towing to carry our luggage and need to know if we can bring it in the resort

Me: no sir, they dont allow it

Guest: ok Dave, thats unacceptable, what am I supposed to do with my luggage?
Ok, what's the point of asking if you don't want to accept the answer that's given to you?
