I can't say I've had any masonry fall on the car. The only thing that came close happened last year. I'd gone down to Grafton, WV to chase some trains. (CSX has a yard, and you can usually watch crews servicing their locomotives. If you're lucky, you can see some coal drags.) As usual, I parked behind the courthouse--there's nobody walking around on that street, so there wasn't a danger of some redneck idiot breaking into the car.
Imagine my surprise when I'm about 2 blocks away, and I hear breaking glass

*For those who don't know, many of Grafton's buildings are in poor shape. The town doesn't have the cash to fix or knock them down. After the coal mines closed, much of the town was abandoned, and things started falling apart. They did, however, knock down some of the worst ones (including a large church on the main street) over the summer. The roof on that collapsed, and bricks were falling out of the walls. However, if you *really* want to see decay...walk up the hill to the former high school--the entire place is falling apart!
