Most of my letters were either written backwards or upsidown. Someone mentioned something about that being a left handed person thing? I'll have to do some research on that.
Have you ever been checked for dyslexia? Or were you just incredibly non-conformist as a kid?
Honey, I'm BanDrui and even I know it's on the first Sunday after the first full moon after the Vernal Equinox. [/QUOTE]
Well, it is a hijacked pagan holiday.

Hell, for that matter, so is Christmas. *shrug*

I'm Christian (no flavor) and I celebrate both, as well as Halloween and any other excuse to have fun that doesn't have a negative focus.

Besides, at this point, there are two different Christmases. You've got the religious one that Christians celebrate as part of their observance. Then you've got the secular one that's mostly an excuse to encourage crass commercialism and have parties with friends, relations, co-workers, and random people who also want to party.

    ^-.-^

wait...there are two christmases? and here i've only been celebrating one...i have maybe two pagan friends who also aren't allowed to openly celebrate pagan holidays, so we go through the christmas thing and have fun with it anyway...

I also was severely dyslexic as a kid...but due to the fact that genius runs in my family my brain has overcompensated for what the body can't do...

I was definitely very non-conformist as a kid. Still kinda am, but not on purpose. Actually, my father is severely dyslexic. My brother is too. There's a chance I could be, but I was never checked. My teachers forced my parents to check me for add and I was diagnosed with it, but at that time it was the new "hip" thing, so we decided to do nothing about it because the Ritalin just changed my personality too much. Anyone asks, I'm just a daydreamer. Yeah, but it was apparent in my brother. He's great with math, but he was terrible at reading. We found a wonderful woman who helped him. Now he's in AP english and is taking an internship at 3 different colleges, including johns hopkins and college park. Sucky thing is since his gpa is over a certain amount, he can't claim any kind of disability, so the sats are proving difficult at the moment with no time extension. My dad sat in on my brother's lessons. He just finished his first real book, I'm so proud (It's a Howard Stern book that's been sitting in his bathroom for years) Apparently for him looking at letters is like looking at hiragana or kanji or something. I don't have the reading problem, just the writing one.
