this was from the other day...and it kinda made my head hurt...
so the cashier was ringing and this guy was buying Move-Free (vitamin thing) and he had a rain check.
he told the cashier it was buy one get one free, and she needed my authorization to modify the prices for the free ones, no biggie. ...but then he complains that they were supposed to be 12.99 each
they scanned at 30.99 each.
what he had out was a raincheck for 12.99 and then whips out one for buy one get one free. they were from different months too. i tell him i can only honor one raincheck. he still insisted though that the raincheck the was buy one get one free, was also supposed to scan at 12.99...there's no way ever that in the same week were these vitamins 12.99 and buy one get one free, no way. i tell him since it doesn't say what price they were supposed to be i have to go with what they scan as...i go upstairs to amuse him to look for that flier, which of course we have NO old fliers from any week. and tell my cw who's a supervisor, and tell him this guy wont listen to me.
cw goes downstairs and tells him the same thing. after that im not sure what went on but the transaction was voided and re rung and he still had a problem.
