    It wasn't me!!!

    I work at (Local Liqour Super Happy Store!). We had a guy come in and steal some very cheap cigs at our store. Now, we had just installed some nice new cameras to inspect (For the most part) the entire store. We ended up catching this guy red-handed.

    The next time he came in-

    Verbatim:

    Me: So, did you want to pay the ciggarettes you stole?

    Theif: Huh?

    Me: Remember, last time you came in, you stole some cheap cigarrettes?

    Theif: That wasn't me.

    Me: Do you want me to show you the video?

    Thief: That wasn't me.... It was the other guy who looks like me who used my credit. Can I get mycredit back?

    Me: Liar...

    (Keeps going until the court decides in our favor)

    I have never seen him again...

    He wants credit back on stolen items? He does know that equals $0, right?

      Credit for a "stolen" card? Why sure, let's call the police and have you file a report. I'm sure they'll want the tape, your signature and heck, we probably even have the thief's fingerprints on the receipt.
      A lion however, will only devour your corpse, whereas an SC is not sated until they have destroyed your soul. (Quote per infinitemonkies)

              That or he got picked up by the police for other charges. Or at least we can hope it was the latter.

                  Ok... To clarify, the liqour store has a program where you can sing up to earn about 5 cent credit per dollar purchase.

                  We ended up unmistakenly catching this guy (who comes in almost daily), stealing a pack of stale, marked down cigs on camera.

                  He puts the entire transaction on HIS account.

                  He then denies the whole thing even when shown the film showning him looking almost exactly identical to the day he stole the shitty cigs.

                  He also claims that someone else that looked like him illegally used his credit to buy said cigs and want's his credit back.

                  Still have not seen the guy though... (Not sure if the store did at the least ban the guy)
