Economy Whiners at Subway

I have been eating at the way of sub a lot lately! I had lost interest in it and now my interest has been piqued again.

i surprisingly haven't gotten any of these in my store yet. lots of people talking about the economy and asking for coupons, if it's on sale, saying it should be, etc.

but i've NEVER had someone hand me some money and TELL me they're only paying that much for a specific item. That's madness.

Someoen who worked in a vacation rental or something had a similar type of EcW.

EW: We're in a recession. I'm only paying $5.
Me: Then you're not getting a sandwich.
EW: Too bad. *leaves*

I find myself wondering if the EW remembered to take back the $5 before storming out?
