There's a actually a downloadable Namco Museum set on the PS3 Playstation Network now. It even integrates with PS Home -- you can get arcade machine standups, 3-d models (I got a Pooka, and I'm using the free demo of NM), and clothes for your avatar. There's only 5.5 games or so in it (pacman, xevious, dig dug, galaga, dragon spirit, xevious resurrection), but it DOES include the ORIGINAL Pac. ^_^

Customer: That sucks, why don't they make games for these things that people want to play?!

      Me: Because they hate you.
I used to say this, YEARS ago, when I worked at my favorite job (video rental store), whenever people would complain about the game prices...

Customer: "Why are the new/hot/popular games so expensive?"
Me: "Because they hate you and they want your money. Welcome to Big Business 101."

... but only with customers that the store had a good relationship with. I wouldn't have said that to someone who would have complained about it.

I've had the first story happen to me, but I never had to travel 100 miles before I noticed the wrong game. In the first instance I got an empty case and didn't realize it until I was about to put Luigi's Mansion into the Game Cube. I was worried I wouldn't be able to make a good argument for myself, but it turned out to be real simple.

2nd time I bought the first Megaman ZX game, but had the game card for the 2nd game. I went and exchanged it. No problems.

Finally the third time, I bought Kingdom Hearts 2. This time I checked the box while in the car so I wouldn't have to come back. They gave me the first game. I ran into the store real quick to get the actual game I paid for.

These things happen. GameStore employees are human too and can make errors. You just have to double check the accuracy while it's still a minimal hassle.

This one is the most common when you're buying used games.

We had a case recently where a friend went in with us and bought the sequel to a popular game, and when we got back to the apartment, we found that they'd accidentally put a copy of the first game in the case. Since we hit that shop semi-regularly, we just took it in the next time we went, and they changed it out without any trouble.

Then again, they're super-cool there, which is why we're always going back.
