Americans are very loud compared to to men from other nations. You can hear our conversations with each other miles away. At least you can when we're in other countries. In America it's harder to hear us. Maybe America itself makes it hard to hear each other and that's why we speak so loudly. hmmmm.
You mean, like, when an American is in a different country he stands out from the natives becasue of his volume? Or you can hear an American's conversation from America when he's overseas because he's just so loud?

Besides, you live an hour away from the US border-you're bound to sound american-ish.
I grew up in the Maritimes with summers in Quebec. Took me years just to even out the French accent on a lot of my vocabulary. ;p

Sides you don't really see any American influence on Vancouver. We're too hippy.

Also, if you truly wish to hear a tall of Harold. Very well. I shall relay the one I remember most simply because it was both horrifying and kind of funny.

The one tale both of them were laughing over had placed Harold at a gay bar for his nightly....er.....harvest. After getting enough drinks into some real estate agent or some such he convinced him to come home with Harold to his undoubtedly creepy clown lair. Where he promptly threw him in a chair, de-panted him and starting...er....well lets just say sampling the deli. Anyhow, after a few moments of this Harold decides his bored of breakfast sausage today. Stands up and tells the guy, quote unquote "Nah, this just isn't working for me." than throws him out of his house......annnd goes right back to the same bar to find someone else.

I just don't understand how you haven't killed yet.
How do you know he hasn't? I mean, do you really think he would speak of it publicly, even to us? A good killer, a bright killer, does not speak publicly of his kills. Otherwise he risks capture.

I don't believe GK has killed yet, but I think it is mostly due to the fact that the people he would most like to unleash his wrath upon are those he deals with on the phone, and thus has no direct physical access to.

Of course, he is still young........

Under extreme duress, humans have been known to accomplish supernatural feats that can't always be exlpained.

I wouldn't put it past GK to summon the ability to either reach through the phone lines or telepathically mind-snap the caller, given the amount of duress in any given one of the posts.

I demand the 7 minutes of my life back that you have so cruelly robbed me of. Neither I nor any other living creature should have to suffer such cruelty at the hands of your simple intellect. Please consider sewing all of your garments from tarps, sleep bags and any errant creature or relative you manage to kill from this point onward. Do not touch the phone. Ever. Again.
I am quite honestly and sincerely surprised that we had no reports of anybody spontaneously combusting in whatever place that person was calling from.

I’m just as Canadian as you are, if not more so.
There, there, Gk. All of the important people know you're Canadian.

We've got nothing on men from Mumbai. I had a doctor who was so loud, I could hear him clearly through the privacy wall when he was in the next room. When he was looking me over, he gave me a headache through sheer volume.

The first one. Though I like the second one. A nice exaggeration. I think I'll use it next time!

True but we're still louder than most of the world. Especially Europeans. You go to Germany and the train is so quiet, I actually thought people were just not talking. Turns out they just talk real softly.

They've figured out that if everybody talks softly, then everybody can hear.

I keep trying to force that into a few thick skulls, but I'm not sure my powers of persuasion are up to the task.

while you're at it try teaching it to SC's. Yelling the same thing at us louder the second time doesn't make you right, it makes us angry
Telling a cop, "My taxes pay your salary!" is dumb.

You could always go the evil route - Talk softly (and carry a big stick ), and refuse to repeat yourself... "You couldn't hear me? Well, then, I suppose you'll make sure to keep it down to a dull roar next time, won't you?"
