Cats can clog a PSU in about three seconds flat.

Yup. allthough generally the RSPCA will have somthig to say about you stuffing a cat into your PSU

Cats have nothing on cigarette and... other... smoke and ash that gets into computer components.

SO many times I have had customers bring in computers like that. When you pick them up you say "Do you smoke?" when they answer yes, you crack open the case and find out that you were right, the cutting out was caused by the machine over-heating...because the fans can't cool a damn thing.

We've got an air compressor at work. 140PSI is usually enough to shift anything but we had one customer come in where I had to scrape the tabacco-laden dust off the heatsync with a screw driver before the compressor would even touch it. The crap was stuck to the floor for WEEKS.
