    In the world according to my mother, colour is the most important thing about a car. When I buy a new one, it is the only question she will ask about it.

      Yeah...if you feel like dropping about five grand for a decent paint job. And by "decent," I mean one that's not a Maaco-style "spray-right-over-the-old-paint/rust/crap-and-have-it-peel-in-6-months" job. One that's been done right, and sanded back for a mirror finish

      Although, when I bought my last 2 new vehicles, I don't recall having to put down a deposit on a particular color. The dealers simply called around, and had my cars delivered--the Mazda came from Indiana, PA...and the Toyota came from Philly. I suppose it would have been easier and faster, had I not wanted a five-speed
