    And the truth in that (as I see it) is this:

    If your 30,000 friends REALLY know you, they won't take anything you say seriously.

    So in theory, if you tell 30,000 of your BFF's not to shop at a certain store, they'll more than likely ignore you and shop there anyways.

    Or at least that's what I'd do anyways. . .

      I had a girl I was seeing once tell me not to ever shop at a chain once because her ex boss at one particular one was a dick

        This is exactly why when this situation comes up I just call over a manager or CSM and have them deal with it. I just bypass the whole "telling them no" thing now. Call manager first in anything like this, has been my rule for about a few months now.
