Okay, this guy wasn't exactly an SC...mostly entertaining, but he wouldn't leave me the hell alone!
So he comes up to my register tonight, and then after I total his order, he asks me about ink cartridges for printers. He was like, "there's none back there for Lexmark." I just say something like, "oh, that's odd." And then he talks about how he has this program on his computer that can make Christmas cards and whatnot...and that's why he needs the printer ink.
So then he pays...and I just lean over, cause I'm quite tired. I've been up since 630 this morning, and was there until 10 (I get up that early to get a parking spot...classes at 8 until 3, then work 5-10 today.) I tell him that, and then he was all saying, "well, yeah, I'm tired to...I have to get home as well. I haven't been home in 10 days."
I just look at him...not really caring, and I must have made some sort of motion for him to tell me more, cause he went on:
"Yeah, I'm a truck driver. My girlfriend says I'm the perfect man; I'm always out of the house."
Um...yeah. I wouldn't want my guy to be out of the house for like a week straight. That's just me though. I'm paranoid.
But this guy wouldn't leave me alone! When he FINALLY left after probly 10, 15 minutes, Rita (the CSM that was resetting the register next to me) turned to me and said, "Do you know that guy?" When I told her no, she burst out laughing. She was like, "it sounded like you do know him, from how he was talking to you."
I don't know if he was trying to hit on me or what...or just be nice and make conversation, or what...but he kinda creeped me out for talking to me for that long. I mean, I was trying to step from behind my register to go to the redline and get more customers, and he just kept talking...and I'm too nice to just walk away. Maybe that's my problem.
