Today I heard raised voices coming from around the corner. I'd thought it sounded like an angry customer so I walked over to see if it was something I could help them with.
As I rounded the corner I saw a man and a woman arguing and as soon as they spotted me the man cried "here!" and, stretching out his arms, rushed toward me.
Man: "My niece has homosexuals on her wall!"
Me:
Man: You know, she has a poster of these three gay guys. Three gay guys and a girl. I don't know who they are. Help!
Woman: [has enough sense to look ashamed] Shh! Stop!
Man: Maybe they're not gay, but you know, they're gay. Help me find them.
That was the first time ever that I made NO attempts whatsoever at trying to cover up my shock and disgust. My face was blank with astonishment and my mouth hung open in horror as this man spoke.
gah.
