  • Where are the homosexuals?

Today I heard raised voices coming from around the corner. I'd thought it sounded like an angry customer so I walked over to see if it was something I could help them with.

As I rounded the corner I saw a man and a woman arguing and as soon as they spotted me the man cried "here!" and, stretching out his arms, rushed toward me.

Man: "My niece has homosexuals on her wall!"
    Me:
Man: You know, she has a poster of these three gay guys. Three gay guys and a girl. I don't know who they are. Help!
Woman: [has enough sense to look ashamed] Shh! Stop!
Man: Maybe they're not gay, but you know, they're gay. Help me find them.

That was the first time ever that I made NO attempts whatsoever at trying to cover up my shock and disgust. My face was blank with astonishment and my mouth hung open in horror as this man spoke.

    gah.

That's terrible. That consumer needs to be told 'open your eyes, dim-bulb! Gays are everywhere.'
Customers should always be served . . . to the nearest great white.

        Proper response?

          Hanson?

          (sorry, I had to)

          On a more serious note - ...
I was going to sttempt to find some pop culture reference, but I am far too out of touch with the teenagers and I'd probably break my brain trying.
Although I do love Bobsentme's response

I was going to go with a boy-band too, but now I'm thinking it might be a Twilight poster

First thing I thought of, I'm not very into twilight.
And, like Hanson, the guys are brothers

As far as I remember from my time living with two Fansons, who regularly invited a third over for dinner, all three of the Hansons are married, and two have kids.
Lump me in with the Twilight poster theory

Hm. I'd have to NOT say Twilight, because I can't really think of a poster that would have three guys that would look gay and only ONE female. The Cullen family has Rosalie, Alice, and Esme. One poster with Bella has Edward and Jacob, so that's only two guys. And only Edward and Jasper really look as if they could be considered gay.

After seeing that Camp Rock picture though, my guess might be that. *curious*

"Three gay guys and a girl". Now... how exactly was the gayness of the guys deduced? Did the poster have big red signs that said "GAY" over their faces? Were they members of the band "The Gays" or something? Was the girl wearing an "I'm with Gays" T-shirt?
Why do they make Superglue but not Batglue?
