Sometimes I hate the male of the species (ended up kinda long)

Yeah see I get hit on alot. Im under 25 Im actually tall comapared to the normal hight of girls around here and although im not supermodel skinny i am still considered skinny. Im normal shaped. I have had this happen in the many places ive worked. Although it is esier to escape in drive thrus cause you can just walk away frening work. At the donuts of dunking however i normally get front counter. And it is normally the people old ebough to be my grandfather leering at me like im a peice of food about to be eaten. Now when people joke around saying oh how come a pretty girl like you is here I will politly tell them it is because I get paid and i need the money. I have had younger guys trying to get me to go out with them. Which is uncomfortable first because I am a lesbian and have no intrest at all. And second because I have a girlfriend and 50% of the time when I inform people pf that they act as if im broken and need to be fixed so use even more pressure. I have made friends at work with coworkers and customers. but it takes a special in the odd omg you and i think alike kind ofperson before ill even consider it.

OP- I think you did the right thing. You handeled it alot better than i would have. dont feel like a jerk.
