In some manner of fairness, our work is trying to connect with students on Facebook to get more of them in the door. It's more the part where they ask us to call IT because Farmville won't load and Farmville is so important that bugs me.
That being said, I agree with many of the above posts, and it may please you to know that we can (and do) boot students during busy times so homework can take priority over Facebook It almost happened yesterday since we only have a handful of computers with Adobe Cs4 on them and I saw at least one Facebook user there.
