Just wondering how many members have to put up with the public constantly telling them what needs to be done in your shop or area. I work in a pet shop and I constantly have SC going out of their way to tell me if out of the thousands of fish their look at they just have to tell me "did you know you had a dead fish".
I have people who are not even looking at the thousands of beautiful fish we have but go from tank to tank just looking for dead fish.
In the past I have told them “yes thank you we do work here all day and will get to that and we do have out of all the thousands of fish the odd death.
I have gotten to the point were I say to them “did you want it” they have such a funny look on their faces with that reply .
One a customer complained when I said in reply to her saying “you have a dead fish in that tank”, I replied with “if you would like to leave a resume at the front counter”.
I just get sick of when you have a whole store or section to look after and customers are pointing out what you need to do during your shift.
In a shop that requires service, cleaning animals and feeding them I just wish they would just back off and leave us to do our job without the constant interruptions.
If they want service I will gladly give it but please butt out of anything else, too many supervisors spoil the broth.
