Lord yes, I'm agog to know how this finishes!
I'm delighted the store is going all the way with this, if only more would do this, it might act as a deterrent to other SCs who think they can abuse store staff and property whenever and however they want.

Sadly dumbass SC doesn;t learn and jumps at CA and rips paper. PC quickly sprays some CS spray at her and immobilises her.

PC: CA would you like to press charges for assault?

What size room were you in?

I'm confused as to why the PC went straight for their spray because CS turns into a gas you see when it's released. Meaning that if you're in an office, or a reasonably small room everyone gets clobbered with it (including the arresting officer and the person that Mrs SC was lunging at).

I've never known an officer use CS in such a situation because it would become unmanagable so very quickly furthermore CS is the highest level of force available, they are taught time and time and time again to escalate force rather than simply go in all guns blazing.

It is a fairly well sized and well ventillated room. It was in our cash office so it precautionary as a couple of us in the room had swipe cards on us which can open the safe. Although the police owuldn;t be aware of this. I believe it was precautionary though in order to ensure safety as she had proven herself to be a real threat in the past.

Also her husband he sat there shaking is head looking well embarrassed. I think he was possibly more annoyed than anything else. Maybe she'll have to go to court for the wonders of a divorce....

Also update the local courts have ruled that she must pay back all costs for damaged stock, lost days of work amongst other things. The charges for assault are being followerd through however they can not be decided in the lowest courts and must be passed onto a sherriff court. Court date is around the end of may. Unless she is willing to admit fault and change from a not guilty plea.As a friend of mine would say; @such an idiot@
