Quoth simplyanother View PostThere are still plenty of BB's in VA. Especially 'round here.
They removed all of the ones over here on the Western side. Just finished looking it up, it appears it was a franchise chain.By popular request....I am now officially the Enemy of Normalcy.

Quoth GroceryGIrl View PostSo the man overreacted but I kind of understand his point of view about seeing it on paper. Shouldn't you have some kind of accessible information about the policies that the customers can reference? Especially in instances like this where they have to produce documentation?
Since it's a private business and the customer is on *their* property a verbal explanation is good enough.
Customer was being an ass insisting on seeing in writing what was just told to him verbally by a representative of the company. If he didn't like the policy he had the option of politely walking out and keeping his dignity.
Instead he chose to show his ass and act like a jerk to the OP.
This next bit isn't addressed to you personally, GroceryGIrl, but to several folks who've posted here:
Some in this thread are skating very close to calling out the OP and failing to see the suck. The OP came here to vent about sucky customer not to discuss policies at BBV. If you want to talk about a bad experience at another store in the chain, start your own thread in Sightings.
If you went home to vent about a bad day and your spouse or SO started telling you how wrong are to feel that way, how would that make you feel?
Right.
That nonsense will stop now or infractions will be handed out.Last edited by Dips; 04-22-2010, 11:35 AM.The best karma is letting a jerk bash himself senseless on the wall of your polite indifference.
