First story reminded me of a time where someone asked me to do the exact same thing. He didn't press it though after I told him that it's first come first serve.

The first one was an asshole, sorry but can't just expect somebody rip away another client's appointment because you have assholier than thou syndrome.
The second one is somewhat legitimate. Sucks that you didn't get word on why the tech never came at the time he was supposed to, but you can't expect the tech to put something trivial over a family emergency.I don't get paid enough to kiss your a**! -Groezig 5/31/08
