    There's a massive difference between making something a stupidly high price and actively lying about the volume of an item that is being offered for sale. If they had accurate weights on the pre-packaged goods and just charged a higher rate, then there would be no case. A company is perfectly free to price itself out of existence.

    Either way you want to look at it, the point I was making was companies don't perfect right to set prices any way they wish. There is still and always will be market value. Maybe the article wasn't the right one to choose to fully support that point. Companies can price themselves out of existence but I really don't think that's what Food Lady meant when she said they have the perfect right to do what they want with their prices. It sounded to me like she was saying they can put any old price on their products an get away with it, screw market value and if you don't like it go elsewhere.
