So since I have given my notice I have decided not to take any crap from the SC's. What's going to happen? I am not going to get fired before inventory.
I had the opportunity today. A kid walks in (college age). I see him standing in line at the cash wrap. T-shirt in hand along with the most beat up pair of our men's clogs I have ever seen. So beat up, the heal part which used to be tan, is now black. They are last year's models, too.
I call over the headset telling the cashiers that there is a kid in line with beat up clogs. Call me when he gets there because I am NOT taking them back.
I happen to be up there when it's his turn. He wants to return the t-shirt. No problem.
He then says, "I was told I could return anything here" and holds up the clogs.
I reply, "Not those". He says, "Oh, really?".
I tell him that he can return anything I could re-sell (not necessarily the truth, I can take back damaged goods, but he caused the damage himself). I asked him if he would like me to throw them away for him.
He just walks off.
I am not waiting for his mommy to come in and yell at me. Bring it on.
