I'm a barista at starbucks, and we let people sit at our tables after we close while we close around them.
And it pisses me off when people ask if they can get another drink after I've finished closing my till, cleaned the blenders, cleaned and emptied the espresso machine, etc.
Normally, if they were polite, and I hadn't closed the espresso machine (which you can't put back together easily), I would make another drink for free. Simply because I'm nice. But if you bitch about it to me, no, even if I hadn't closed everything up, I wouldn't get you a drink, even if you had to pay for it.
I want to go home. Why don't you go home too?
