    enough with the shoplifting!!

    seriously! we had a guy steal two cartons of newport cigarettes.

    well my cw was ringing him and he slid his card and she put the bag on the counter and when it was authorizing he left and the card was declined. he had a car waiting for him.(she shouldve left them behind the counter til payment was complete)

    the cops recognized him and have been trying to catch him. he hit a Green-Wal the other day and has hit a few other stores.

    wtf

    the parents will pay the $675 it cost, no charges will be pressed


    STUPID KIDS..
    all night. all night long stupid kids, in and out in and out, same ones over and over. every week we kick them out, the cops kick them out, and they keep coming back. they blatantly ignore us when we ask them to leave sometimes. they bounce soccer balls off the front of our building, sit on the floor, do backflips in the store. seriously.

    i left a note for the manager basically saying, either she bans them, or i work friday mornings, i will not work friday nights with these assholes anymore

          And you can have all the proof in the world that their precious little snookums are really pains in the community's collective ass, but they will do nothing but cop an attitude at you for bothering to interrupt their NASCAR/Soap Opera/eBay auction/Craigslist Escort list scanning.

          Have you considered recommending that your boss get those high-pitched sound makers that only teens can hear?

            lol. well she knows their a pain in the ass but she NEVER works friday nights, its always me. me and the other 2 who work every friday cant take it anymore. oye!

                  Regarding the cigarettes: This is why I try to never leave cigarettes on the counter and I make the customer wait while their card is authorizing.

                  Similar story happened a year ago except it was kids paying with their mom's EBT card. We knew who they were and we made them pay the next time they came in.

                  Regarding the kids: I vote that a chat with the police and the manager next time gets the kids arrested for trespassing.

                    I usually hold them on the counter with my hand on top until the card goes through. I don't put them into bags for two reasons:

                    1) If the customer says that I've got the wrong one, they can let me know and it's easier to change.
                    2) CUstomers can't try to scam a free pack out of me by claiming that "I never gave them their cigarettes."

                        i and my mom can hear those too. they grate and give extreamly bad migrains its to the point if i hear one when i walk in a store i walk right back out and shop else where. We both have really sensitive ears to the point we can hear tube lights running. and i can hear dog wistles.

                            Just to be clear -- -- I was referring to the LACK of sprinklers as likely not being legal, rather than the use thereof.

                            As for the horns -- vuvu's can exceed 100dB o_O if that doesn't chase them out, I dunno what will. Maybe see if they come in a variety that plays the Brown Noise

                              sadly i dont think the horns would work.... a fart bomb wouldnt keep them out. even though theyve already set one off in our store
