It was just one of those days. Arrived to find we had an SOR (higher up making sure we where doing everything right) plus there was a group of school kids being showen throug.
2 orders means 2 orders!
So we have signs up in drive advsing of our two order limit, it has been this way for years (at least 3 years ago I noticed the signs). Car comes through places two orders and attempts to order a third.
Me: Sorry max of 2 orders per car
SC: But we want a third one
Me: Sorry we can only do two, please drive thur.
SC: But we haven't done ordering
Me: Please drive thur
SC: Well we will add it to the first order
Me: I can't do that anymore please drive thur
SC: But we want to order more
Me: Please drive thur
Think I ended up asking them 7 times to drive to the window.
Put some clothes on
So drive thur was intresting over dinner rush as our EFTPOS was offline, we could still take EFTPOS but it was slower and I needed to explaine to each person what was happening. This means I am getting yelled at for taking too long to cash down orders.
SC: Can I add a VIP cheeseburger?
Me: Sorry we can't change orders at the window
SC: Why not I only saw it now
Me: Is jut poilcy also you don't have a VIP sticker
SC: Well its on the wifes car
Me: I am sorry your order is $x.xx (manage to get him to pay explaine about EFTPOS)
SC: So why can't I add at the window, is it for secrutiy
Me: Not sure sorry it is just policy please drive to the next window
SC: But why can't I add it?
Me: drive to the next window please
He eveutally goes to get his food. I was thankful as he was wearing a short bath robe and nothing else.
At least we let you have food
So I am explaining to people that EFTPOS is offline but that it will be proccsed once it comes back online and no they don't need to enter a pin as it can't check it at the moment. Some people where a little confused but accepted it but not this guy
SC: so when will it be prosscesed?
Me: I am can't tell you once our EFTPOS comes back online it can take up to 3 working days to appear.
SC: Well thats not very helpful to the customer
Uh dude our EFTPOS is down if we didn't allow you to pay offline then you wouldn't have been able to buy your dinner and really we take a risk allowing offline transactions to try and help the customers.
Parks are fun
Running parks at one point tonight, I don't think I had any parks over 2 min as I was baggin them almost as soon as they where parked. Take out one though and 2 min was too long apperntly.
SC: what was the hold up?

SC: what took so long normally you guys have it ready and are quick.
Me: Uh well dinner boxes do take a while sorry
Honestly I don't ask why we are parking I just makes the parks if he had been waiting 5 min+ I may have understood but under 2 just grrr.
