    Do they accept donations?

    I just had a customer inform me that at one of our stores, a man was insside asking people for spare change.

    On his shirt it said "Donations for Drug Addicts"

    Who knew they had a foundation??

      Well, at least he was honest?

      Reminds me of a tale I was told once by a friend...they drove by a homeless person holding a sign that said:

        That's not "clever", it's fraud. There was a guy working at the door-to-door sales company I worked for, and sometimes we promoted charities and tried to get people to sign up to give donations. Unfortunately, you couldn't sign up people who were pensioners that didn't have an independent source of income. This dude got around that nicely -- he sold raffle tickets to them. You know, raffle tickets that were attached to no raffle. He gave them receipts for it and pocketed the money. Got caught when a lady rang up to verify they were real, and was caught with receipts on him.

        Ouch, lose your job and your freedom in one fell swoop. XC
