How can a room smell too clean? Too bleachy or something?
We get people who are allergic/don't like the smell of our cleaning chemicals. I sometimes get, "Do you have a room that wasn't cleaned with chemicals?"

Yes...yes....we have a special block of rooms that we just clean with water...NOT!

If you request it ahead of time, we can use light chemicals/water. But you really need to make that request well AHEAD of time!

I did pay extra to get a nice view at the hotel I'm staying at on my wedding night. I figured I deserve something nice to look at after dealing with two families, and it's not like I won't be spending a lot of time in the room that night.

But seriously, different parking lots? Get real.

While checking in at the hotel on our honeymoon we were told the room had an "obstructed" view of the ocean, and for an extra $100 or so per night we could upgrade to an unobstructed view. The obstruction? A single palm tree, between the hotel and the ocean, that was tall enough that the fronds were about 20 feet above the level of our balcony. We didn't really see how the tree detracted from the view in any way and declined to upgrade.
