As always, GK, you never fail to remind me of why I never get homesick for the Wet Coast. (Not that you're missing much this summer, the weather is sucking mightily. ) Taking the skytrain on a daily basis is near the top of my list of things I would rather not do ever again.

To the idiot that sat in front of me, and his miscellaneous barnacle like cohorts: Please stop using "nigger" as a comma. Its not cool to begin with, and it is certainly not cool when delivered with a thick Punjabi accent.
Dude... I am DYIN' here. I know the accent of which you speak, but my brain is busted imagining THAT.

How have you survived this long? How?!
Look, the evolution of our species is an ongoing process, and like all evolutionary paths it's produced a few dead ends. They just haven't all died out yet. Scary thing: there is apparently a patron saint of fools and those with zero survival instinct.

My kitten took offense to your kitten infestation story. She rubbed her head on the keyboard and the page disappeared. :0)

A saint for such would be unworthy.

Dude... there's a patron saint of the fear of mice. And there's always St. Jude, the patron of lost causes. There are saints for some really *peculiar* things, lemme tell ya.

            Adorable Pests

C: “Hi, I called a little while ago about rats!”
            Me: “Alright?”
            C: “Well they’re not rats….THEY’RE KITTENS!”
            Me: “………”
            C: “<whisper> They’re in the couch.”

….o….kay…..you.....think you have……..kittens in the house….? You’ll excuse me if I back away slowly and try not to make any sudden movements.

C: “They’re all in this couch. So I’m going to get rid of this couch. Because I missing running board and tile pieces. That’s how they’re getting around the house without being seen.”
            Me: "........"
            C: "They're eating my computer."

You seriously believe you have a kitten infestation? And that they’re somehow scurrying through your walls unseen? Tell me something…is there some sort of daily medication you’re supposed to be taking that might have forgotten about this morning? Or conversely, perhaps have taken the entire bottle of?

I asked the building's maintenance guy about this tenant and his…..kitten problems, and the maintenance guy assured me a “mental health van” was already on the way to address the situation. Thus confirming the only possible explanation for this entire scenario.

Maybe he's related to a obese woman a fellow guard dealt with at low income housing site.

Guard got a medical alarm and went to check it out

            FG: Fellow guard
            CCL: Crazy cat lady

            G: *Knock* Security!
            CCL: I'm here, i've fallen

G: *goes in and finds a very obese woman on the ground*
CCL: Help me, I fell down. the cats did it

G: Ok, i'll call for some help *he thought at first that she just had a cat she tripped over or something like that until she said this*

CCL: Oh no the cats are getting into the fuse box, they are going to cut my power!

EMS arrived shortly after this and notice her feet are blue

EMS: Mame why are your feet blue?
CCL: The cats did it, they painted my feet blue!

*EMS then tried to take the women out on a stretcher

CCL: Nooooooo, the cats are everywhere they're going to get me!!!!

FG with another off-duty guard who had came by then proceed to shoo the "cats" out into the hall

CCL: Nooooo, their in the hall they're still going to get me!!!

*FG then opens the stairwell door and shoos them into the stairway

after that she finally let the ems guys take her to the ambulance

St. Jude seems to be one of the most popular saints. Just go into any store that sells Catholic kitsch (you'll recognise it when you see it), and look at the prayer cards that they have there. I can pretty much guarantee that there will be one for St. Jude (unless they're sold out).

Anyone else want to start sending them to Gravekeeper, so he can get better callers? And maybe some St. Christopher ones for his travels on the Skytrain.

Yeah, but to me the best part was where the kitten guy talked about running boards...on his couch.

Oh just admit it. The feline aristocatcy is getting very close to running the world already.
