I know my fair bit about cars but I couldn't tell you abut why your car makes a squeaking noise every time you turn left in wet weather at night when it is a full moon.

That is one of those things that can be fixed with a 10 cent drop of oil, but will cost $150.00 to find out where to put the oil. Add another $1.59 for the earplugs you will need when the customer starts complaining about it.

Going so far as to find someone who works in the correct department is more help than I've gotten in a lot of stores. If I was the customer, I would have been very happy.
