When im doing something important and need to assess you physically and you attempt to correct my grammar over something trivial (ie saying Can I vs May I), i WILL dead eye stare at you until you turn away and I can continue what I have to do.....

I mentioned my hospital stay of nearly two years ago in another of your recent threads.

That experience was basically my first since my only other experiences were an over-nighter for observation 30 years ago, and then one I don't remember from my childhood, like 45 or so years ago.

But, it gave me the greatest respect and appreciation for what nurses and other staff do, and what they have to deal with.

I don't recall exactly how I got on the topic, but one with a couple of nurses that were in my room at the same time, I mentioned how I knew what it was like to deal with "customers" from my experiences in retail and other face to face customer contact type jobs, and I could only imagine what it was like for them.

The thing that nurses have to deal with on a regular basis that those of us in retail and such don't is that their customers are sick and/or injured, some terminal, and many in various levels of pain or other discomfort. And in some cases, I'm sure that even the normally nicest people can be sucky. Gord help you if they are EW's in general in the everyday walk of life, that just magnifies the suck!

Anyway, I can't remember if I mentioned the CS site name directly, but I at least made reference to it!
