I hate stupid people especially those I try and help. We have diesel pumps and that is the only thing you can get from those pumps, they sit between our gas pumps. It is a regular occurrence that when someone tells me they on one of the diesel pumps I have to ask if they need it since they were probably to dumb to look.

Today, I was outside as a woman pulls up to a diesel pump in a car that doesn't look the type, IE, not a big ass truck or VW Jetta. I asked her "Is that car a diesel?" tried 3 more times of being ignored and getting rolling eyes, she managed to get her credit to take then starts flipping out "Diesel??? I don't want Diesel where is the gas?"

Seriously, I WARNED you and tried to get your attention but you blew me off. Oh, and that is tough shit your card gets locked out after being used at one pump, I'm so sorry you had to take 5 minutes out of your busy day to go inside and pay because your head was so far up your ass you couldn't pay attention to the pump you were pulling up at, OR listen to the worker who tried to get your attention. I mean really, I'm truly sorry (that we share the same air and your wasting it)

A few years ago, a woman filled the tank of her brand new diesel pickup track with regular gas at a self-serve station. Apparently, her engine died a few blocks away.

So first she tries to get the dealer to replace the entire truck, and they point out to her that it very clearly says "diesel only" on both the gas guage and the gas cap itself.

Then she sues the gas station for something like $15,000 to replace the entire engine. Her rational is that the station is 100% at fault for not physically stopping her from her own stupidity.

Note for those not aware: All that was needed to fix the truck would be to drain and flush the system, and maybe replace a couple seals.

Actually, if you want to destroy an engine put E85 in a non flex fuel vehicle, I guess it will run for some time to it eats away all the hoses and gaskets that aren't designed for the added corrosives of ethanol.

Actually, with a modern Diesel engine, it's quite possible. These use their fuel as a lubricant for the high pressure pumping system... and when fed with gas instead of diesel, this lubricating film will not work.
