Don't all answer at once, but why do customers NEVER listen?
So as not to bore you, all you need to know, is that for a credit payment to be applied, it must be done within a certain time frame, that is, the start date of the problem must fall within a certain time frame, and no problem for which a credit has already been authorised must be mentioned on the report, otherwise it invalidates it, and no credit can be applied. Easy, and I always guidemy customers so a payment cn be applied correctly.
Today, this happened.A customer had a problem which lasted for over a wekk, last week and was therefore entitled to a credit of about £90 which is quite a lot of money.However...........
customer,"and you MUST put on your report (which the customer recieves a copy of) that this happened last week, and in February, and in November last year.
me *explains that while that was the truth, a credit was already applied for the problems experienced in February and November, and I must write this as a seperate incident since including the other two would invalidate it, plus it would start way before the accepted timeframe*
customer "NO NO NO you MUST include the other two incidents"
me *explains again"
customer "I insist"
ok then.I wrote the report, and wrote on it, customer did not want his credit and insisted I invalidated it.
There is now NO way that a credit for last week can ever be applied so he lost it.
