at least you aren't in a large college town in Wisconsin....we have sororicicles-which are what the sorostitutes become in winter...because wearing a winter coat to stave off the hypothermia would clash with the open-toed stiletto heels and skirt so short it may just be a belt or a long blouse...then complain about the cold...
Actually I've seen girls dressed like that who look like they're enjoying the temperature. Of course this is never when it's really cold. Personally, I consider tights a necessity as soon as the weather drops below freezing, but I'm a little wussy about that, because I grew up in Toronto.

One of the church college residences here is known for making a walk down to the convenience store and getting the slushees, or whatever they're called at that particular store. Everyone wears shorts and t-shirts and sandals, and they walk back drinking their treats. The catch is that this is done in January. It's probably about 3, maybe as much as 4 km to the store. I don't know how they get large groups of people for it, but it's done.

It took me two solid days (and a bottle of cheap wine) to figure out what "Her Highness of Milk" was referencing.
Thou shalt not take the name of thy goddess Whiskey in vain.
