They make as much sense as they did when I was running around in the 80's with wristfuls of them. Only they were called "jelly bracelets". They only came in round, though, but lots of colors.

I remember jelly bracelets! I never had a lot of them, but I had tons of those slap bracelets that eventually got banned. Those were awesome!

Frightening, isn't it? I have to make a confession, though. I actually had the sequined boots from "Desperately Seeking Susan". But I spent most of the time trying to dress like Duran Duran.
OH! ....well, crap, I used to have tons of those. Wore those and glow stick/rings to every rave.
Everything old is new again. It's absolutely frightening walking down the mall and seeing everything that I wore in high school is back. Mainly because I'm appalled at how bad our taste was.
Remember jelly shoes? Those were back last summer. I had some and all I can remember is how much my feet sweated in them.
Yep, and everything in avocado green, harvest gold and burnt orange.
Sounds like the carpeting in my parents' house At least they've begun re-carpeting some rooms, but the living room still has carpet in the beautiful shade of sun puke.
