There's a woman I complained about http://www.customerssuck.com/board/s...ad.php?t=55156 who requests a lot of obituaries.
Every month she sends 5 requests for obituaries. She used to ask more but we finally told her 5 a month.
In June I accidently shreded her requests. I told my super right away, and an email was sent to the woman. I guess super told her that the requests were accidently shreded. And an aside, 3 of the requests were requests she made before, where we did not find the obits.
So this month (she sent it at the end of last month; the requests tend to arrive just on the first of the month or last day of the previous month) she sends her requests and adds a sticky note. First reading it, I though it said, "please do not xxxx obits. ok?" "xxxx" was written oddly, like she realized she misspelled it and tried to correct it. First letter looked like a 'j' going through a 'u'. I thought one letter was an 'h', last letter looked like a 'd'.
I finally figured out it said, "please do not shred obits. ok?"
Thanks for rubbing it in, bitch. Heck, our super gave you free obits because of the accidental shreding.
I wanted to send a note saying, "thank you for reminding us you are a crazy person who thinks us finding your dead relatives for cheap is how we make our money, considering we are a public library and don't need your stupid $3 an obit."
Or something like that.
