Wow, I'm usually just lurking but I get 2 days worthy of posting in a row! (sigh, and its only Tuesday )


SC: Hi, I was told last week that I can call today and do something impossible and completely against the rules...

me: Thats odd, I don't belive we can do that, do you know who you spoke with?

SC: uh, Mike I think

me: I'm afraid there's no Tony here either...

SC: hmm... well whats your name?

SC: Yea, thats it, I talked to you last week and you said it!

me: I was on vacation last week, couldnt have been me

SC: no, it was you, I remember your voice. don't lie!

I then proceded to try to unsuccessfully convince the SC that I was in fact, many many states away last week. After she still didnt believe me, I had to then inform her that what she wanted to do was impossible.

She now plans on reporting me to the BBB and the commissioner of the state. hmmm, maybe I can show the commissioner my pictures of me, my wife and my 6 month old at the beach as a defense

Don't bother. 98% of the "BBB" threats are hollow, as I'm sure this one is. But we would like some details on this "request" she had.

she wanted to make a payment on an insurance policy that had canceled last week and apparently "I" told her that we would reinstate her policy for no money and cover her till the end of the month when she gets her next check (3 1/2 weeks away). she just got a ticket for driving without insurance and I wouldnt tell the officer she was covered.

The stupidity is just phenomenal. Name one doesn't work? How about name two? Ok, let's try a really really blatant attempt to get a name that will work. He'll never figure this one out.

Although I guess you do have to appreciate that this woman, at least, realises that you can't possibly remember every single call you took.
