To quote a favorite saying of mine (not sure by who though) "There are happy healthy people of all shapes and sizes." I just wish that idiocy was legally treatable . It's funny I would have been less upset if he just had called me a bitch or something but I've been having a lot of docs tell me I'm a bit overweight (I'm a bit fluffy but not real bad) so I've been very concious of it lately. I don't understand how someone can be that much of a jerk. That is the first time in all my years of working with the public that somebody actually did that.

I know it's just name calling from an ignorant guy but for some reason I saw red and wanted to cry. Kind of made me wonder if everybody else see's me as the 'fat chick.' My SV didn't really correct him when he said it, which weirdly enough bothered me. But then again, I don't know how she could've really made the situation any better. I don't know a proper responce to his asshatness and staying professional.

Lately our casino has been really focused on customer review. They used to just brush it off but now something has definately changed. I'd say the economy but that's been in the tubes for like two years and just NOW they care. Even about assholes. It's odd.

But thanks for cheering me up I guarantee if I see that guy again, I will refuse service and have him answer to security.

That guy was a bully. He was looking to start trouble. That's why he was standing on your customer's heels, and calling you and your supervisor names. He just wanted to get his jollies off bullying a bunch of women.

Bullies are cowards by nature. They pick on those whom they perceive as weaker than they are. I guarantee if your supervisor had been a man the bully would've been nothing but polite and courteous to him while complaining about you.

That deserves nothing but your contempt. He's not worth wasting an iota of time over. You're infinitely better than he is, and he knows it, and so do we all.

What a wrinkled old prune!! Your best bet is to "kill em' with kindness" that is what my friend always told me. Be so sweet and kind it pisses em' off so bad..that they just leave. They can't say anything because you were kind and courteous and did your job. I had seen one lady that was being a major sc to my friend suddenly scream "Why the fuck do you have to be so dammed nice!! Gahhhh it makes me want to hit you but I can't!! FUUUUCKK!" andshe then left. As soon as she was gone we both broke up laughing.

Don't let it get you down. The guy ain't worth your time.

I've been told not to take things that SC's say personally but just how EXACTLY does one do that when they say something that pushes your buttons & you can't help BUT get defensive?

I've found going "OW OW!!!!!!!" and doing a little hip shake unsettles them quite a bit. Try it some time. Or get an attitude and shout something like "Fatties do it big, son!"
