I was down the candy aisle today, picking up some chewing gum before I left (had already clocked out, removed name tag), and I was chatting with a co-worker who was doing re-shops. A woman came down the aisle and immediately asked me where the dog food was. Co-worker knew I was off the clock so he gave her directions to the dog food section, quite cheerfully I might add. She then looked at me again as if to confirm he wasn't completely yanking her chain, and pretty much acted like he wasn't there.
He's got a great sense of humor and takes it all in stride, but seriously, WTF?
