They aren't required to help anybody so any help they choose to give out should be seen as a present not a guarantee.
    Which is the position my workplace is in - I don't know how things were done in the past, but currently we're kind of limited on resources, so we've had to put some restrictions on how often assistance can be provided.

      Alright guys, we're straying pretty deep into Fratching territory here. General discussion about the moral obligations of a church should brought there. Let's stick to the original topic please; I don't want to have to close this thread.
