I'm glad you will, but this is CS.com... I've seen people think it's perfectly ok to take pictures of someone's art even when the rules explicitly say (in multiple locations) "No recording" and then get bitchy when they're told to delete the picture.
Sadly, I can see what goes thru their "minds" right now:

"Well, recording is forbidden, so that means it's fine to take snapshots -- after all, only video cameras can record -- I'm just taking a picture!"

There were two notable incidents over this. The first came in the form of an attendee who didn't want to give his camera up, which is understandable, but upon being told that if we saw it in there, we would confiscate it, he threatened to sue us if we tried (yes, let one man's lawyer take on the team of lawyers that comes with being one of the top ten anime cons in the country).
Um, confiscating his private property is a real tort, and he'd probably win that lawsuit no matter how many lawyers you have (ask them, and watch their eyes bug out at the idea of the liability you'd incur). It simply would not matter to a judge why you did it, only that you did. Police can't do that, and they have more authority than you do.

That's the civil side. Taking it by threatening to eject him from the con is felony extortion. Actually grabbing it (if, say, he refuses to give it up) is felony robbery. If he used force to resist such a seizure attempt, it would be valid self-defense; In some states, given the monetary value of a decent camera, he might even be justified in using deadly force. Is a camera really worth dying over?

From a legal standpoint, if he's being disruptive and ignoring rules, you can order him to leave and have him arrested (by cops, not con staff) if he refuses to go.

All in all, that's a VERY bad idea there.

the stickers over lenses sounds like a great idea, make them a very very bright colour, like neon yellow/orange so its obvious whether one is on there or not
