My wife has decorated one full living room wall and half of the next with those. They make an amusing mirror effect. My 11-month-old son loves them.
My brother was mirroring his ceiling with them, and had planned to put in a small mirror ball and light, too.

Faith is about what you do. It's about aspiring to be better and nobler and kinder than you are. It's about making sacrifices for the good of others. - Dresden
I almost hope the OP email was genuine. I would reply to it and see if Dan responds.
.
No response to it will happen sadly, I emailed him back with a fairly polite response stating that his email seemed incomplete, did he want to clarify what he was asking? Got a mailer daemon error about an hour later. (Which was weird, I'll admit. Usually that stuff is instantaneous.)

I remember when I worked for AOHell - doing tech support. Back in the day, it served it's purpose, and I really don't have anything against the online service portion - per se. I still have my account (they let us convert our accounts when the big layoff happened) and I find AIM useful, and I know a few people who use the AOL radio services.
That said, the majority of AOL users... it scares me that they probably have to write instructions on post it notes reminding them to inhale... and then exhale.
As far as the CD's go... hmmm. some of them met my microwave... for awhile, I had a competition going on about frisbeeing them from the balcony on my apartment over looking a volleyball court - just a matter of making it over the fence. Not that I'd ever do such a thing.
